Facebook and Me
On
12 February 2016, I left my company and all set to move abroad in a few weeks
time. My only friend at home is my Acer laptop 5738, which doesn’t get hotter even
though I use my hands on it for hours together. As soon as my laptop is switched
on, my index finger automatically presses the letter “F” and Facebook pops up
automatically as if it was waiting for me.
Facebook
is an addiction and its obsession. I am so
habituated, accustomed and attached that I check my account once in every 1
hour. My friends compete with me by checking their account every 5 minutes in
their phone. These days I see more photos and videos posted by others, though
it doesn’t matter to me much. It’s a storehouse of memories where best moments are
uploaded. Beautiful and awkward moments
are treasured for years. If friends and family get together, Facebook is the
first place to make everyone aware of the moment with time date and place.
