Do you believe in God!

Humans were initially hunters and gradually evolved as agrarians. Slowly every man depended on many others for various reasons such as food, clothing, shelter and much more. Usually, humans prefer to live together and like to be part of some groups of self-interest. Thus different theories and belief were profound by a group of people in the name Religion to encourage cooperation, compassion, and awareness among relative strangers.

With the world modernizes, the human brain started to develop their own interpretations. Within religions, there are sub- divisions to support a certain group of people. And slowly the concept of religion have started to fade.

We are only human
Many started to argue about the existence of God. Ultimately we are human, who tries to find sufficient evidence to believe or support theories. Many people who find their own answers to the question in the name of Religion, they follow it throughout their life. In contrast, there were people who thought that they can formulate their own moral code to live by happily. They pursued the same codes throughout their life without bringing any idea of God.

An Atheist is an individual who doesn’t believe in the existence of some deities or superficial bodies still there are many similarities with people who follow religion. It is not necessary to follow any God or Goddesses to be a good human being. So being an atheist, doesn’t imply that he/she will be ethically correct in every situation. All the judgments taken by people are based on experiences and same goes with both Atheist and Theist people. As scientific development and technology advancement helps us to solve issues related to health, government, society improvement similarly atheist use the similar technique to solve one’s problem. Every theist follows their own perception of God to lead a life of their own similarly atheist also choose their way of life and bring a conclusion to any happening based on one’s course of action.

China has by far has the highest atheist population. In Asia, China and Hong Kong top the list. In Europe, UK, Netherland top the list. In France, half the population is not religious. Even Germany, Switzerland, Spain are Atheist countries. Even in Israel, there are many citizens who consider themselves as Non- Atheist.  Japan, Czech Republic, Australia, Iceland are also competing in this race. A study was conducted by the Pew Research Centre which concluded that Wealthier nations tend to be less religious.

It is often said that the world is becoming more civilized and secular in its thought. But having no faith can bring a death sentence in some countries. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Qatar, Nigeria, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen to name a few.

Way of Life

Finding a right combination of words to identify oneself can sometimes be challenging too. Having exposure to both Atheism and Theism will bring out the deepest values of oneself and also to the others. It good to aim for the wellbeing of each other in the society than compelling people to accept a certain code forcefully or due to some myth or superstitions. All groups of people should unite together for any humanity causes such as uplifting of the society.

It’s neither atheism nor any religion that leads some desire to suppress or to demean others. As a good citizen, we should strive to assist everyone to reach their full beneficial potential and work for the betterment of society without discriminating and solving the problem beyond the religious books. This will make us more human who acts more responsible without much- guided boundaries.
